It's Sketch Frinzy Friday Blog Hop Time!

Hello to all my blogging friends, I hope this post finds you all well and happy!

I just can not believe the Summer is flying by so quickly!
Kids are returning to school, VC-Rocks is almost over and  the weather here in Redlands is cooling down.

My Mom is on the mend and we have sorted out a  lot of the issues from last week. Thank God! They see my Sister and I coming and they dart in different directions. I don't know if that is a good thing or not lololo! But she is getting the care she needs and deserves. Thank Goodness, we are a close family and that we are able to be there for our Mother and to make sure she gets proper care.

Our Sketch for today comes from Tina Munzke-Taves
It is a really nice sketch and was a pleasure to work with.
This is what I came up with;

I thought if I used the corner rounder it would soften the edges a bit. I used three Embossing Folders on this card;Square Lattice, Flower Garden & Perfect Polka Dots. The sentiment is from the My Friend Stamp Set stamped with Basic Black Classic Ink mounted on a Modern Label Punch. The Card Stock I used was Always Artichoke, Marina Mist (My Favorite) & Early Espresso. Paisley Petals DSP for the background. I just love using the Bakers Twine and ran it 2 times around the smaller Marina Mist Polka Dot piece.  You can never have enough Pearls on a card either so I added 3 medium sized to the top left hand side of the card and two small on the sentiment.

I cut some DSP and pasted it on to the inside of the card for a little extra fun.
I have always wanted to make an envelope to match the card, so I cut a piece of DSP and trimmed it to fit inside the envelope, I could not believe how easy it was to do this.

Well that's all out of me today. Could you tell I was going through creating withdrawals lololol.

Now you will be off to see what Robbie Rubula has come up with  http://inkedx2.blogspot.com/    I know you will not be disappointed. If you would like to add your creation to out website please do so here http://www.sketchfrenzyfriday.blogspot.com/
we would love to see it.

That's all for today,  but do come back this weekend as we are going to have our final VC-Rocks Blog Hop of the Summer! The theme will be Punches. I have something fun planned for or you.

Now it is your turn go and create something fun.

You really paid attention to detail on this one! I love how you added flowers from the same main paper to the inside of your card, and lined the envelope! WOW! I love all the different embossing you did, and your clever use of bakers twine!

Great job. It is a very eye catching card. I love the envelope. I am so bad... I seldom do anything to the envelope. Well this is a four paws up (or in your household a 12 paws up). Hugs

Love it! How clever to use some of the paper inside the card and to line the envelope. Will have to remember those ideas.

Great job with the sketch. Love all the little details, the embossing, the designer paper inside the card - the whole package.
