Sketch Frenzy Friday 08-26-2011

Hello to all my blogging friends, I hope this post finds you all well and happy!

What a week! I'll get into everything a little later on this weekend, but for now lets see what our Sketch Frenzy Friday Design Team came up with for us!  It wad Deb Currier's turn to create a sketch and it is a beauty!
Check this one out!

I had so much fun with it, and I happened to have received a small SU order yesterday so I had to dive into the new stuff right!

This is what I came up with. I just kept on adding and adding to the card. I didn't feel like it was finished so I did a little more to it. I do like how it turned out, how about you?
I colored and cut out the Little Witch and the Frankenstein and then put Crystal Effects all over them to make them shiny. Then I popped them up with Dimensionals. I stamped a set of the images with Stays On Ink on Natural White card stock and let that dry then I shaded around the images with Basic Gray Classic Ink and a Aqua Painter. Then I sponged Basic Grey Ink around the white piece. I layered the white piece several times with (Black, DSP and Pumpkin Pie) I cut out two bats that were stamped in Basic Black Ink and mounted them to the card base. I added three coordinating brads   (I love SU Products for that reason, everything coordinates!) I cut a little piece of Peach Parfait Stitched-Poly Ribbon and made a small loop at the top of the Center Piece. I made a little sign out of the Modern Label Punch which I shortened a bit then stamped Creep On Over on Natural White CS which I trimmed to fit on a Pumpkin Pie scrap which I punched also. Card Stock -Wild Wasabi, Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie and Cherry Cobbler. Stampin' Write Markers- Pumpkin Pie, Certainly Celery, Basic Black, Daffodil Delight, Pacific Point

I decorated the inside of the card too. A couple VersaMark Bats and some layered DSP.
I was really into making this card so I went even further and made a designer envelope to put it over the top!
Could you tell I was going through stamping withdrawals again lololo.
Here is the back view. I just love this DSP paper it is very colorful. It is called Frightful Sight.
Now here is the front view.

I featured the Howl-o-ween Creeps stamp set and the Frightful Sights Designer Series Paper from the New Holiday Mini that will be releases September 1st. Let me know if you need one.
Now it is your turn to go on over to visit Robbie Rubula's amazing blog. She is so darn talented, I really enjoy her work. http://inkedx2.blogspot.com/
If you would like to show us your creation please upload it to our site http://www.sketchfrenzyfriday.blogspot.com/

PS If you leave me a comment i will have my DH select a random # comment and send the card and envelope out to you. USA only please, as I am a small time operator (Smile).
Thanks for stopping by and now on with the Mini Blog Hop. Don't forget to save up some time and create something fun for yourself.
