Well, I finally got a big order in and I have been playing with my new stuff the last couple of days. I'll have to show you it all very soon. New stuff is soooo cool but overwhelming he he he.
This is what I came up with.
I did something a bit different than the rest of the ladies in that I kept the top half of my background plain in stead of using a piece of DSP. My background piece is a solid piece of CS that I gave texture to it. I used the Stripes Folder for that. I have not used the Scoring Plate in a long time so that was a fun tool to pull out to make my focal image flower. I cut my DSP (First Edition Specialty) and scored it so that there would be a line going around the flower (If you look close you can see it). I think it makes it look like it is a double flower. For fun I made a pretty Daffodil Delight rosette to go around the 5/8" vanilla flower and added a pearl in the center to give rosette some bling.
Here is a list of all the SU (Stampin' Up) items I used to make this card.
Scoring Plate
5/8" Flower Trim
Basic Pearls
Daffodil Delight Seam Binding
Bitty Banners Framelits
Floral Fusion Sizzlits
Square Lattice Folder
Daffodil Delight, Basic Black, Naturals Ivory and Basic Grey Card Stock
Basic Grey Ink
Just Believe and Pursuit of Happiness Stamp Sets
Here is a look at the inside.
Well that's all there is to it for today's card. We would love to see what you create from this sketch so by all means please download it on to the SFF Blog here http://www.sketchfrenzyfriday.blogspot.com/
I am pooped out. I have done more running around this week than I have done in months.
Have a great week please stop back by soon.
Thanks,
Patrice

So striking! Love the black and grey with a touch of yellow! And the layered flowers are just beautiful!!
Patrice, WOW! I just LOVE the card you created for this weeks sketch. It is stunning! I love how you added texture to your plain card stock. It gives it so much visual interest! WOW! and I have to admit, I'm a sucker for rosette flowers. I hardly make them, but I just LOVE them. And I like how you added the yellow ribbon rosette, too. It adds so much to your card.
I'm sure our followers/readers have been inspired by your beautiful card, and will play along with us this week. Bravo!
Great work.
