Hi there blogging friends, I hope this post finds you all well and happy!!!!!
This is my first post with my new computer. I am so jazzed!
Soooooo much has happened since July. We bought a house/log cabin that was built in 1890 knowing we would have to do a ton of work on her. She is a work in progress for sure but she is home to us now. I got a new computer it had Windows 8 (What an awful system. What were they thinking???) I am learning to use a Lenix system called Umbuntu. Somehow during the summer I lost access to my blog. My computer was giving me grief Our children came in from CA, The Holidays were wonderful and I got a new dog There is more but I can't remember it all.
Our new home has two bedrooms, 1 & 1/2 baths, two story colonial with a fireplace on a little under a half acer, a hug two car detached garage and the property is totally fenced in. We are just on the edge of the City of Martinsburg so we have city water and city sewer and paved roads. The city has a snow removal crew that servicing the roads . We are in heaven. Having lived on a dirt road and having had well and septic, I prefer semi city living lolol.
I have two huge areas for gardening so I can have a veggie garden and I will be able to create a formal garden as well. I am going to take a Master Gardener class some time in the early spring. I'll keep you posted on that too.
We had to totally redo the up stairs paint, flooring, bath fixtures, phone lines, lighting... The craft room/office is completed now and I am so happy. I was able to move all my crafting supplies up last week so now I can start to stamp again.
My pictures of all the before and after house and garden are in the old computer. Jeff is working on retrieving that and he will put everything on an external hard drive so I can use those photos too ????
I finally decided to get a new dog. We adopted him from a Lab Rescue two months ago. He is a beautiful Black Lab mixed with Hound. He is about two years old and such a sweetie. He had Heart Worms so we had to take special care of him. He is well and active as ever
I have a picture of Cole and Marley. Let's see if I can download it now???? Fantastic that worked!!!
I still miss my Bear, but Cole is a funny guy, full of energy and has lot's of love to give. He has a serious Lab Lean that almost knocks you over. He is staring to show us a smile too.
There's my boys! Also take a look at my new floor, fun hugh.
Well my friends lets see if this post flies.
I am looking forward to chatting with you all again real soon. I will start posting with Sketch Frenzy Friday by the end of the month so stay tuned for some long overdue card making.
I hope you find some time to stamp and or do something creative.
You were all missed very much. Wishing you all a very Happy New Year.
Fondly, Patrice

Hi...sounds like a wonderful place to live, you are blessed to have a little piece of heaven. two gardens that will keep you busy. We used to live in the country, had 40 acres and a big garden and in our old house over 35 years ago we had an acre with a big garden, I miss that. Our house now can't even grow much, toooo much shade and the ground is clay, clay, clay. Enjoy!!!!
So glad you are back to posting! I've missed hearing about your adventures and seeing your beautiful creations! Have a super day!!
Yea!!you are back. I missed you and can't wait to see your work.
