Sketch Frenzy Friday 1/18/13

Hello to all my blogging friends, I hope this post finds you all well and happy!

This weeks sketch was designed by one of our very creative design team members Jennifer W.
Jennifer, I have to admit you made me think about this one lol.
I loved the sketch and liked how my card turned out. It is so different from what I would normally come up with. I think that's what's so great about sketch challenges, they challenge you and they make you think!
Here is Jennifer's sketch;

This is what I came up with... well to tell you the truth I didn't like my first card and trashed it. This is my second try;

The first card I made had no POP or PIZZAZZ I hated it! These new colors really made me smile. They are bright and cheery and really POP!. I used Rich Razzleberry, Gumball Green and Midnight Muse card stock.The DSP is from the Summer Smooches set. I ran the Rich Razzleberry and the Midnight Muse cs through the Big Shot using the Polka Dot and Strips Embossing Folders. I made a cute little Bow out of Daffodil Delight Satin Ribbon. The sentiment  is from the From My Heart stamp set and I used Rich Razzleberry classic Ink on it.

Here is a look at the inside;

The inside sentiment was from the Apothecary Art stamp set. This card is about as clean and simple as I could possibly make it. I really like how it turned out!

I hope you like my card and get some inspiration from it. Jennifer made a terrific sketch and I would love to see what you come up with! Please upload your creation on to our main page here  http://www.sketchfrenzyfriday.blogspot.com/

That's all there is for this week. I hope you come back soon and find some time to create something fun for yourself.

Chat soon,
Patrice

I love how simple your card is! The circles look really great and the bow just ties them all together (no pun intended - lol)!

Ohhhh I love the paper with the cardstock. Will have to remember that. The bow is a great idea also.

Patrice I like how your card turned out as well. It reminds me of a cluster of balloons ready to take off. The paper is so colorful and yes, it made me smile too. Loved that bow as well.
