Good Morning Bloggers. I hope this post finds you all well and happy! Today is a really special day because we start our 2nd Blog Hop of the summer with VC_Rocks. I think there are 29 of us this time so it should be really fun to see what everyone came up with. The other good news is I get to earn a Blog Hopper Badge today. Yippee, as this is my second VC Blog Hop of the summer. Collecting badges is always a good thing!!! Big Smile :)
Now on with the tour- If you got here today you most likely came from Brenda Hugar's blog   http://www.brendasstampingcorner.blogspot.com/

When you finish checking out my Blog you will be able to see what Angela Khan made for us next.

Here is the Envelope Card and tutorial I made for this Hop. A friend of mine Gail Reid from San Diego sent me a card several months ago showcasing her design. I asked her if I could CASE it because it was so cool. I kept the basic envelope design as it is a really cleaver one, but made the rest of the card my own. I hope you enjoy the tutorial. Please leave me a comment, as I would love to know what you think of my blog and this card.

Supplies:
Glue Dots, Sticky Strip, Adhesive, Personal Cutter with Scoring Blade, Shimmer Mist, 1 Misc Brad.
Bone Folder, 4 pieces 1/6th size sponges, 1 Medium 1/2 Vanilla Pearl from the Pretties Kit.
1 SU Vanilla Envelope 4 3/8 x 5 3/4 . 1 piece 10 1/2" Vanilla Satin Ribbon, 3 Scallop Circles-1 each in Rose Red,
So Saffron & and Pumpkin Pie.

4 pieces Rich Razzleberry- 1- 4 x 5" , 1 - 2 x 9 1/2, 1 - 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 , 1 - 2 1/2 x 4".
1 piece Specialty DSP -Presto Pattern 2 1/4 x 2 1/4.

Stamp Set:
Elements of Style- Swirl and Life is a matter of moments.

Instructions:
Fold envelope in half lengthwise. Cut flap lengthwise at fold to the top of the opening to the envelope. Seal left side shut (looking from the back of the envelope) Use sponges to distress all sides, front and back as well including remaining flap with Soft Suade, More Mustard and Rich Razzleberry classic Inks. Trim away theh little piece of excess fold on the right hand of the envelop, set aside.

Stamp swirl image with VersaMark all over the  2 x 9 1/2 piece of Rich Razzleberry CS in a random pattern. Once piece is dry distress the long edges only. Score at 4 3/8 & 8 7/8 this should leave a little extra at the bottom 5/8 or so. Lightly spritz with Shimmer Mist. Attach the Very Vanilla Ribbon length wise to this piece and wrap the entire  piece around the left side of the envelope tucking in the ribbon at the bottom, set aside.
Distress the 2 1/4 x 2 3/4 piece of Very Vanilla CS with Classic Inks. Stamp "Life is a matter of moments" at the top center of the CS. Attach the stamped image to the 2 1/2 x 4" Rich Razzleberry CS, set aside.
Color the Specialty DSP piece of CS with Classic Inks using the sponge pieces  & the Resist Technique. Once dry attach this piece to the 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 piece of Rich Razzleberry CS & attach both pieces to the front of the top of loose envelope flap.

Make a Scrunched Scallop Flower and secure it with a brad . Use a lg Glue Dot to attach the flower to the front of the DSP piece.
Insert the " Life is a matter of moments" tag into the envelope. Lift the flap with the flower on it and close the left hand side of the envelope. Flip the flap with the flower on it over the outside of the folded envelope. There you have it. Send me pictures of what you come up with OK.
