VC_Rocks July Blog Hop

Hello to all my blogging friends and VC Gals. I hope this post finds you all well and happy!

Yep, it is that time again Summer and VC_Rocks! I finally get to participate in one of the monthly blog hops that VC has. The move and all kept me from hopping the last two months. I am so excited to be able to participate and to show you all what I have created. This Hops theme is Anything But a Card (ABC) so that's what I made for ya.

Before I get on with the projects, I need to take care of some business and niceties.
You arrived here from Nancy Keithley 's blog http://fancynancykay.blogspot.com/    Didn't you just love her work, I know I did!
However, if you just popped in to my blog to say hello and are saying to yourself "what the heck is going on" you can start at the beginning  of the Blog Hop by just clicking here  http://vcrocks.blogspot.com/   and it will take you to our homepage.

Now on with the projects:

I made a Fancy Desk Set which includes a  Candy Jar (duh stamping- candy!!!),  14 month Calendar (I'm getting old, I have CRS), a Note Pad (for when I do remember) and a mini Gel Pen isn't it cute!
All of which is decked out in SU retired 2010 Christmas paper. Although, I think it just looks cheery!

This is what it looked like before I started
I will try to have a tutorial on each project every day next week as we are limited to  the # of photos we can have on our blogs today. Hey, I don't want to type all weekend either. I want to check out what everyone else has created on their blogs too lololol.

This is the Note Pad and the Pen up close. I am giving it away as Blog Candy!
Next photo is the inside cover.

Then I made the Calendar, I did the folds just like you would have made for school book cover long ago. Remember they were made out of paper Bags. ( I almost forgot how to make it lolol)

Finally, The Candy Jar:
I made the top pretty so I wouldn't feel bad getting the candy out! I'm a stamper ...I eat candy!
I suppose I could fake it and call it the Dog Treat Jar???? Not... I'll make them another one.

Here is a photo of all the goodies in the Festive Desk Set.

Leave me a note and let me know what you think. Remember I am giving away the Note Pad and Gel Pen as Blog Candy!!!!!!! Just leave me your e-mail address in your note so I can let the winner know.

Your next stop is to visit Elaine Wright's blog http://www.stampinreckon.blogspot.com/
I can't wait to see what she has up her sleeve.
I hope you enjoyed my projects and have a great weekend. Now it is your turn to go and create something fun.
After you finish the Blog Hop of course! (Big Smile)

Nice job, Patrice! One of my customers recently brought me about 15 of those Pepperidge Farm pirouette cookie cans - think I might spin off your idea - they'd be great for holiday cookies or fancy popcorn!

Patrice, these are all fantastic! I love all the details! I am going to be CASEing you! :)

I do remember paper bag book covers!! I actually had to make one a couple months ago for my son. (He thought I was crazy!) I couldn't find any paper bags, so I just used the packing paper from my SU! boxes! LOL
