It's Sketch Frenzy Friday Time

Hello to all my blogging friends, I hope this post finds you all well and happy!

It's Sketch Frenzy Friday and I am excited to show you what I made from today's sketch. Sharon Wheet designed this sketch. I looked and looked at it and  was making way too much out of it. So I put it away for a few days and it finally came to me just this evening. It is a very simplistic sketch and yet you can go in so many directions with it. With out further ado here is her sketch and my card!

See what I mean, simple but sooo much potential. Great sketch Sharon!

I've had these Side Notes for a while now and decided this week I was going to use them and I did for this sketch.

I cut along the edge of the  flower and slipped the friends piece inside to give the flowers more dimension. I colored in the Friend sign and the Flower piece with various SU Markers. I distresses all the pieces with either Marina Mist and or Kraft classic inks. I ran the Marina Mist Piece through the Big Shot with an Embossing Folder? (I must have left my SU  Catalog in the car so I can not tell you the name of it?) But it is in the Catalog hehe! I used a silk Rosett and a couple leaves from the Build a Bird Punch and added Basic Pearls and a few Embossed Butterflies.
Wow this is hard with out my Catalog!
I did a little something to the inside too.
Have a great day, I hope you got a bit of inspiration from my card and enjoy the rest of our Blog Hop!
Robbie Rubula is up next and you will just love what she has created for us this week. She always does such a fantastic job designing her cards.http://inkedx2.blogspot.com/
If you would like to create a card from this weeks sketch please upload it to our home page we would love to see it. http://www.sketchfrenzyfriday.blogspot.com/

Now it is your turn to go and create something fun. Have a great weekend and do something nice for yourself.
