SFF 12/28/12

Hello to all my blogging friends. I hope this New Year is filled with family and friends, lots of new adventures and much happiness for all of us.

We were so excited to see snow for the first time X-Mas Eve. I had no idea how beautiful snow could be! It makes for a whole new landscape that we had only viewed on TV or in photos. I will show you some more photos on another post. For now lets see some cards!

Sharon Wheet created this weeks sketch! This sketch has the makings to produce really beautiful cards. Thanks Sharon you did good!
I really had fun with it and used some more of the Merry Moments Simply Scrappin' Kit pieces.

Here is her sketch:

and this is my card:

I used a piece of Brushed Silver card stock and one of the designer frames from the Designer Frames Folders to make the holder for the sentiment. The sentiment is from the Blessings from Heaven stamp set. The flower and additional pieces (flower and paper) are from the Simply Scrappin' Kit. The background pieces of card stock are the Designer Series Paper sheets that come with the set. I think it is a very versatile set and can be utilized for more that just Christmas Cards!

Here is a look at the inside:

There you have it. I hope you enjoy the sketch that Sharon made of us this week and give it a try. If you do create a card from the sketch please download it on to our home page we would love to see it.
