Labor Day Weekend a beyond

Hello to all my blogging friends, I hope this post finds you all well and happy!

Well let me tell you, I am so pumped I can't stand it! We are almost finished with the kitchen. We have the major painting done, all the big walls and now that we have seen what it looks like we are going to paint the trim and re-do the bathroom to match!

Here are a few before photos. We had not painted the kitchen when we moved in. It was a sort of  pinkish/ cream color with a stencil on the top.

But, I did strip off all the wall paper and that was a huge job. I did that last summer.

White walls
Now a few during
Poppy Parade

Now for the after look

So Saffron it looks beige in the picture. It is a creamy light yellow

 Old Olive green

I caught Jeff on the Mower driving by while I was taking photos LOL
We are going to paint the doors and trim Early Espresso a lovely warm brown.
I love SU colors lolol. It looks so warm and inviting. It makes me want to study in my kitchen lol.
I am in my second week of a WV Univ. Extension Master Gardener course. I am so excited about that too. Gardening in WV is very different than Calif. (Better)

I went out in the garden after I took the photos of the kitchen, look what I brought in. The garden is still producing but slowing down.

Thanks for stopping by.
Chat soon,
Patrice

Patrice, I love the colors you chose! Everything is so pretty and inviting! I also use SU! colors to explain what I want. Yesterday, Richard decided to play a game with me. We were traveling on the interstate & with every car that passed, he asked what color is that? He was surprised that I remembered the retired colors!

What a fun game to play on the road. Jeff was so unsure of how things were going to work out. I told him to have faith lol He really loves it now that he sees it all put back together.
