Sketch Frenzy Friday 10/10/14

Hello to all my blogging friends, I hope this post finds you all well and happy!

Todays sketch was designed by Diane Eichfeld and as usual she did a fantastic job with it!  Here is her sketch.

This is what I came up with from it.

The first layer is the card base. It was embossed with the Woodgrain Folder in Mossy Meadow cs.
The second layer is a scrap of Very Vanilla cs.
The third layer is a scrap of Cajun Craze cs.
The fourth layer is a scrap of Daffodil Delight cs.
The fifth layer is two pieces of Color Me Autumn DSP
The sixth layer is a scrap of Cajun Craze cs.
The seventh layer is a scrap of Hello Honey cs.
The eighth layer is a scrap of Natural Ivory that I stamped a Pistachio Pudding background and the Cajun Craze Wheat Leaves on. Both stamps are from the For All Things stamp set.
I tucked a little banner of Daffodil Delight under the first layer of the card that I die cut from the Hearts A Flutter Framelits set.
The misc embellishments are: Two banners- Color Me Autumn Designer Washi Tape over white cs. I covered a large silver brad from a Paper Pumpkin Kit with Retro Fresh Designer Washi Tape. Finally I tied a little bow using Thick Bakers Twine in Pistachio Pudding.

This card was very time consuming and labor intensive, but really worth it. All the colors and textures all came together in the end.

Here is a look at the inside.

My neighbors mother went in the hospital with emergency surgery, so I wanted to send her a get well card. Sentiment from the Thoughts and Prayers stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you give our sketch a try and show us what you create from it. http://www.sketchfrenzyfriday.blogspot.com/
We would love to see it!

Chat soon,
Patrice

I love how you always do the inside of your cards....(I always leave mine blank until I'm ready to send). Your detail is so fun. Great Job Patrice.

I like the textures you used on your pretty card. And I like how you did the two ribbons too. Very nice card.
