Embossed Challenge & Liebster Award

Hello to all my blogging friends. I hope this post finds you all well and happy!

I think I saw a Embossed Challenge this week on line and for the life of me I can not find the blog it belongs to. Am I imagining this challenge? If you know where it is let me know OK??? LOLOLOL.
I FOUND IT!!!!! It was over at Pals Paper Arts   http://www.palspaperarts.com Good thing I thought I was going nuts lololol.
I thought I would pull out this beautiful new DSP paper called Paisley Petals and do a little cut and paste embossing technique.  This card just screamed (Clean and Simple) CAS. This paper along with a few extra items are a part of the Special Pre-Order that Stampin' Up Demos were able to purchase. You will see this paper in our new Summer Mini that will be out in May it is really very beautiful. There are some really cool  stamp sets, papers and Dies that I just can't wait to get my little hands on.
As a Demonstrator we are able to purchase from the Summer Mini one month early starting in April it's just part of the perks for being a Demo. Ever thought about becoming a Demonstrator e-mail me and I'll give you all the info you will need to do so, and you will become a part of my team. I would love to  help you to get started on your SU journey.

Here is the card I made for the challenge . I hope you like it. I just cut a corner of the DSP and cut around the top row of flowers and then taped it on to the Whisper White card stock. I then stamped the sentiment  birthday wishes form the Sale-A-Brations Free Stamp Set So Happy For You in Marina Mist. I also just colored in 3 of the little butterflies with an  Early Espresso Marker. I used the Embosslits Die - Beautiful Wings to cut out 3 little butterflies in Early Expresso. Then I ran the cut out DSP and the Whisper White card stock through the textured embossing folder and attached the 3 Espresso Butterflies. I gave a bit of depth to the edges of the card with a light sponging of Soft Suede. I attached the embossed piece to a Early Espresso piece and then that piece to the card base of Marina Mist. Thats all there was to this card.

I have some more really good news too!
As I mentioned yesterday I was given the Liebster Award  for blogs with less than 300 followers. Now How Cool is That! Thank you Cynthia you are very kind to have thought about my blog in this way. (Big Smile)
Please check out Cynthia's blog she is really talented and you will enjoy her creations. http://inkadoodlecreations.blogspot.com/

Leibster Blog Award!

This blog award is for blogs that have less than 300 followers and is to be passed along to 3-5 other blogs.

Even though it is true that its not the number of followers you have, that indicate if you have crafting talent or not, but it is a friendly reminder that each person has their own special talent and that everyone deserves to be recognized in some way! Below are a few of the most recent blogs that I have come across and I would like to share them with you!

Wendy Hawkinson-  http://gotrubberwillstamp.blogspot.com
Angela Walters -  http://www.lifewithawienerdog.com
Sherry Hostetter - http://sherrysinknstamps.blogspot.com

Ladies, I really enjoy your work and would love to pass this award on to you for your contributions to my creativity!

Now it is your turn go create something fun!
