Hello my blogging friends. I hope this note finds you all well and happy! Read all the way to the bottom of this post for some good news and some Blog Candy!
This morning I got up and re-made the two cards that did not save to my camera the other day. Here they are.
The layout I cased from Becky Roberts over at her blog Inking Idaho http://inkingidaho.blogspot.com. I have been inspired by her work for years. I really liked this layout and knew they would make fun cards. I embossed the envelopes to match the cards and added a strip of red and purple scallop strips to the inside of the cards.
Have you ever made a card that you were just not satisfied with and put it aside for a while? This card I must have looked at 5 times before I could figure out what I wanted to do with it??? I thought I should just throw it out all together. Well I had an idea to salvage it and I like how it turned out. What do you think? I'm not even going to show you what it looked like before I fixed it lolololo.
I was very busy this morning creating. This is another Valentine I made. I am so inspired because I must be on a roll :)
I know why!!!!!!
My Little Patch of Dirt reached 10,000 HITS. I am so excited and astonished REALLY! I just added the counter last week and had no idea people were looking at this blog. I am so touched. I do not get many comments usually so I didn't think it was getting any action lolol. I just started the blog in June of last year and hadn't really started to work at in until August 2010. I want to thank all the wonderfully talented crater's who have inspired me to create and to those who have helped me on this journey. You all rock my world and warm my heart! What you all do matters.
THANK YOU.
So to celebrate, I am going to have a little bit of Blog Candy to give away. I am a small time operator compared to my mentors :) but I think a pack of SU Pearls will do the trick. Please leave a comment from today until Saturday 1/29/11 and I will have my DD pull a name out of a hat.
