Anything Goes

Hello my blogging friends, I hope this post finds you all well and happy!

I had a very full day today! Cleaning, cooking a huge Pot Roast, creating a couple cards, laundry, baking brownies for my honey and I watched a movie.    I'm tired.
I finally saw Eat Pray Love!!! Oh my goodness what a great movie. I love the beginning and her first time talking to God. That reminded me of my first time as an adult. It is a very real experience. I liked what she said "what do you say"? Her comment. "Hi I'm a big fan of yours" I bet He was rolling on clouds over that one. I know he smiled and gave a chuckle.
It was a great girls film and I cried several times.

I made a couple cards too. My DH  asked me for a retirement card for his co-worker who is retiring tomorrow . He is a biker and this stamp just called out Ron! I made it very large so everyone in the department can write him a little note.
The second card is for The Paper Players- Anything Goes Challenge. http://www.thepaperplayers.blogspot.com    Here is what I submitted I hope you all like it!
I was doing some cleaning the other day here in the studio and came across this great bamboo paper I purchased several years ago and thought I would use it to make a card sometime. Well today seemed like the perfect day to do it.
Let me know what you think .
Okay I am done with this day. Now you all go create something fun.

The second card is my favorite. That set is on my very long wish list.

I am sure Jeff was very appreciative of the card you made for him. I think they are both great. I put in my order for this quarter's stuff and got the clock stamp set. I have been looking at it for a while and finally decided to get it. Especially because Dean did well at the casino-cha ching$. I just lost my usual small amount but had a great time with my man. It is raining down ice here but it could be a lot worse. We could live up in St. Louis where they are supposed to get LOTS of snow and ice.

Carey and Roscoe (who is enjoying all the weather)

I love both cards but the card submitted for The Anything Goes Challenge is wonderful! Love the texture and all of the elements- thanks for playing with us at The Paper Players!

Both of these cards are wonderful! I love the different styles! I liked your Joy Fold card too! I think you might have seen it on Anne Marie's blog here:

I am amazed by your "little patch of dirt", too! We are covered in snow, so there is no chance of anything growing here in PA! Thanks for playing with the Paper Players this week!
