Merry Mondays 1st Sketch Challenge

Hello to all my blogging friends, I hope this post finds you all well and happy!

Lesley over at Always Playing With Paper has come up with a terrific idea. "Create a Christmas card a week". I thought about this for just a minute and said "Why Not give it a go". It beats making 50 cards all at one time and being under the gun with so many other things going on around the holidays. I may even just have enough time to mail them early too! I know, I know you have already put away your Holiday Stamps me too! But, I think what I will do is just keep one pack close at hand and use it for a couple weeks lolol.
Here is Leslie's lovely sketch and the card I created from it. Earlier this week I made a regular card from this great sketch. You can go back a few days and check it out if you like. It's just a great all around sketch.
I like Masculine and Rustic looking Christmas Cards so I will make a few of these first.
It is a shame you can not see the tree up close but it has a few specks of Dazzling Diamonds here and there to look like snow. Click on it to make it larger if you can then you will see it. I used the new Edgelits and Framelits dies on the card as well as a Textured Impression folder and the Modern Label punch. Always Artichoke and Early Espresso classic inks and some Hemp Twine.
This is what the inside looks like.

I sure hope you like this card and give Leslie's Monday Challenges a try. One down and 51 to go (Smile).
Have a great day go and create something fun.
Thanks for stopping in,
